Seed separation and full plant utilization

The ION+ Industries Seed Separator has been developed to separate and clean seeds from dried flowers quickly, precisely and efficiently.

It can process up to 40 kg of dried flowers per hour, depending on the variety, moisture level and condition of the material.

Manufactured entirely from stainless steel and equipped with European-made components, it offers strength, reliability and easy cleaning for continuous professional use. It also comes with a five-year warranty.

Unlike other systems on the market, our goal is not simply to recover the seeds, but also to preserve the most valuable components of the plant: trichomes, cannabinoids and terpenes.

The Seed Separator then separates the seeds from the plant material, producing two valuable outputs:

Clean, correctly separated seeds.

Plant material with better-preserved trichomes and terpene profile, ready for extraction or electrostatic separation.

Preserving trichomes and terpenes

Terpenes are volatile compounds that are highly sensitive to heat, friction and excessive handling. Systems that shred flowers through aggressive pressure or friction can generate heat, damage trichomes and significantly reduce the terpene profile of the remaining biomass.

The ION+ Industries system is designed to minimize pressure, friction and heat throughout the process. It does not artificially increase terpene levels; it helps preserve more of the plant’s original terpene profile, increasing the recoverable quality and value of the final biomass.

The difference is in what you don’t waste

Many conventional systems focus exclusively on extracting seeds as quickly as possible. Although the seeds are recovered, valuable trichomes can be crushed or damaged, while volatile terpenes may be lost through excessive heat and friction.

This results in a significantly lower overall return because one of the most valuable parts of the plant can no longer be properly recovered.

With the ION+Industries system, seed banks do not have to choose between recovering seeds and preserving the remaining material. They can maximize the value of the seeds, trichomes, cannabinoids, terpenes and biomass.
